Support Worker - Luton
Hourly rate - £9.50 per hour
Dimensions are looking for a Support Worker to join our team in Luton and the surrounds.
About the role
This is a challenging and demanding role that requires you to draw on your compassion, resilience and a non-judgemental attitude. You will need a sound understanding of risk management and the ability to maintain appropriate structures and boundaries.
You will be supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism with daily living tasks such as personal care, laundry, meal preparation and medication administration and also assisting them to participate in the activities they enjoy, which could include walking, going for drives in the car, sensory activities and maintaining relationships with the people they care about.
Dimensions are looking for the following qualities in a Support Worker;
Shifts can vary depending on the person you are supporting but we’re ultimately looking for people who are able to work a range of shifts on a flexible working rota that covers days, nights, weekends, waking nights and a share of bank holidays.
