About the role

This role involves supporting two gentlemen in their 70’s who enjoy various activities such as going out for drives, going to local parks, going out for walks and nice food, watching television, listening to up-beat music, attending musical shows, days out, going to the cinema and swimming.

One gentleman is a wheelchair user and he has a mobility car to take him out for appointments, days out and to swimming lessons which he has once a week. One gentleman is mobile but requires a walker to allow him to be steady on his feet, he is very independent. There will be an element of personal care involved.

Shift patterns can vary throughout the week. These can include days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins for example: 09:30 – 17:00 / 10:00-23:00/ 19:00-10:00 / 14:00-23:00 - This can all be discussed further at interview.
