Support Worker

£9.90 per hour

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week / Part-time, 20 hours per week   

Hexham, Northumberland

Full UK driving licence essential

Who will I be supporting? 

• One lady and two gentlemen in their 50s and 60s in supported living
• They have learning disabilities, autism, and limited mobility needs 
• They enjoy swimming, going shopping, trips to the theatre, going to pubs and restaurants and being sociable

What will I be doing? 

• You will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves, and to achieve their goals 
• You will be supporting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning and laundry
• Due to their limited mobility, there is a hoist installed in their home – training will be provided  

What shifts are available? 

• 10am start one day, finishing at 10am the following day with a sleep-in shift included
• Day shift from 7am – 10pm
• Flexibility to work a combination of these shifts during the week and at weekends is required
• Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance
