If you're looking to cut out costly commutes and do something more meaningful and fulfilling with your time than a typical "9-5"; if you'd like to work with an organisation that values and cares just as much about you as they do the people they support, and if you think having a better work-life balance, on-going training and mentoring, genuine career prospects, and a nicer work environment isn't too much to ask, then why not consider becoming our newest Support Worker based in Bicester where you'll receive all these, and more!
In the beautiful, historic market town of Bicester, Dimensions extends its pioneering, award-winning support to eight people who live together across two homes in the same street.
It'll be your duty as our newest full-time Support Worker to work in partnership with your colleagues to continue providing this outstanding level of bespoke support to the ladies and gentlemen in one of the homes.
Every day, you'll ensure that the people you're supporting are living their best lives - the lives that they choose to live! - as well as safeguarding them from risks, whilst respectfully providing full personal care, prompting, meal-time support, and mobility assistance when required.
Home 1 - This is a very peaceful, sensory-oriented home; you'll find no TV here! The people we support require full, intimate personal care, mobility assistance and support in preparing meals and administering PEG tubes. Whilst each person has their own hobbies, aspirations, and dreams, everyone in the home enjoys music, massage, reading and playing with toys.
Please note for this home, we do have a female-only support worker requirement. Therefore, please note, "Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010."
Home 2 - This is a very lively household where the people we support are always up for anything! In particular they enjoy going shopping, visiting the cinema, having a sing-song at the karaoke, and going away on day trips. Like with the other people we support on this street in Bicester, the individuals here also require full, intimate personal care, prompting, mobility assistance, and support in preparing meals.
