Harston, Cambridge

Dimensions are an award-winning community support provider for people who have a mild to moderate learning disability and Autism.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and energetic Support Worker to provide support to a group of 4 adults (3 females and one male) with a learning disability and/or autism in the Cambridgeshire area.

The people we support love swimming, art therapy, socialising with friends and family, meals out and lots of holidays!

An important part of supporting people at Dimensions is to support their development for them to live as independently as possible within the community. You will need to support in developing and understanding their emotions, developing effective ways to communicate their needs, developing empathy for the needs of others, understanding relationships, learning, and understanding their health needs and being able to ask for help.

You will need to be passionate about supporting adults to increase their independent living skills. We recruit based on values so whilst previous experience is always welcome, it is certainly not essential as full training will be provided.

If you are a kind, thoughtful, caring and committed person with a passion for supporting others to live the life they want to live, then we would love to hear from you.
