Come and be part of our team supporting six amazing people with learning disabilities and autism. At our house in Burghfield Common we always have loads of activities going on, from singing to gardening you can guarantee something fun is happening. 

We really pride ourselves on providing inspiring person centered support and everything that we do revolves around promoting independence.  Our team on a rota that provides flexible working patterns and continuity at all times. The location is easily accessible by public transport and has parking available for those support workers who have their own car. 

We do have two roles available:

- 20hrs waking nights - working between hours 9.30pm - 7.30 am. Working hours will include alternate weekends and shifts patters will be discussed at the interview.

- 30hrs day shifts - 7.30am - 2.30pm / 2pm - 9.30pm. Working hours will include alternate weekend and shifts patters will be discussed at the interview. 

What will you be doing?

- Empowering and encouraging people we support so that they may live their best lives - the lives that they choose. You'll achieve this by being actively - and enthusiastically - involved with every aspect of their daily lives (i.e., supporting them with shopping, accompanying them to appointments and on trips, motivating them to take up new hobbies and achieve their dreams, helping with housework, supporting with personal care & manual handling and etc.)

- Checking people we support at regular intervals during the night to ensure they are comfortable

- Keeping written records and using IT systems to record daily notes

- Using your own initiative and ability to work independently
