Who will I be supporting?

  • Two lovely gentlemen in their 60s, who are supported to live independently in their own home
  • They love going on walks, going out for a drive, eating out and drinking tea
  • They’re also interested in cars and buses, and they love music and playing the tambourine
  • The gentlemen have learning disabilities, epilepsy and they are wheelchair users – full training on how to provide exceptional person-centred support will be provided

What will I be doing?

  • You will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their goals
  • You will also be supporting them with their full personal care, their mobility, their medication, and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Both gentlemen have access to a funded vehicle to further support their independence, so you’ll need a full UK driving licence in order to join their fabulous support team

What shifts are available?

  • Shifts start at 8am one day and finish at 8am the following day with a sleepover shift included (sleepover shifts are paid at £45 per shift and don’t count towards your contracted hours)
  • There are also day shifts from 9am – 7pm
  • We’re looking for people with flexibility to work a combination of these shifts on a rota basis across weekdays and weekends
  • Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance
