At Dimensions, we want every colleague to feel confident, supported and set up for success from the very start. Our Care Character Assessment is part of that commitment. It helps us understand your natural strengths and values — the qualities that help create great support and meaningful moments for the people we work alongside.
The assessment is quick (around 5–7 minutes), stays open for seven days, and gives you your own personalised report. It’s designed to support you, not test you — and to help you feel ready, prepared and empowered as you continue through your recruitment journey with us.
We want to get to know you — your values, your strengths and the qualities you’d bring to support work. The assessment helps us understand what comes naturally to you and gives you the best possible start in your recruitment journey. It’s one of the ways we make sure our process is fair, supportive and grounded in what really matters in care.
Yes. Your experience is fantastic — but the assessment helps us tailor a recruitment journey that supports you, and gives you insights you can use for your own development. It also keeps our process consistent and fair for everyone.
It usually takes around 5–7 minutes, but there’s no time limit. Take it at your own pace, wherever you feel most comfortable.

Yes. You’ll receive your own personalised report with insights into your strengths and suggestions to help you prepare for interview. Many candidates tell us they find this especially helpful.
Congratulations — being invited to interview means you’ve shown the qualities we look for in our Support Workers.
