Adult Social Care Training

What is Adult Social Care Training?

At Dimensions, we provide full adult social care training when you join our team. Our social care training is designed to help you become competent in providing a high-level of care and support for people with autism and/or learning disabilities.

Our adult social care training programme includes a complete induction and well-structured training programme, including mandatory training. In addition to this, we conduct regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals to help you develop and progress in your career.

You’ll get a range of social care training opportunities, access to our career development programme, Aspire, and our skills development programme, Learning Connect. We can assure you that you’ll be well-supported with your professional and career development.

Induction Standards and Qualifications

Mandatory training will begin within the first week of employment, where the initial modules will be completed. Then, within the first 12 weeks of working with us, we’ll support you to complete the Care Certificate or All Wales Induction Standards. These are a requirement for everyone working in the social care sector.

If you are a permanent member of staff, you’ll have the opportunity to complete qualifications relevant to your role, with one of our very experienced External Providers. Plus, you could be eligible for a ‘bonus payment’ when you complete certain qualifications.
