Everything we do places the people we support at the heart of their support ensuring they have choice, control, and opportunities to thrive.

We are proud to be an inclusive employer, and our colleagues benefit from award-winning training, career development programmes, wellbeing support, and a fantastic range of rewards. When you join Dimensions, you join a team that genuinely cares and works in partnership to make a real difference every day.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

Five gentlemen who Dimensions support at their welcoming home in Farnham are looking forward to meeting a new Support Worker to join their friendly and dedicated team. They are aged between their 19s and 50s and are autistic and/or have learning disabilities. They are an outgoing and sociable group who enjoy sharing life’s experiences with people who genuinely care.

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important part in supporting the gentlemen to live independent, fulfilling lives. This may include planning and enjoying holidays together, visiting museums and local attractions, attending concerts at Prince’s Hall and G Live, and heading out for drinks, meals or pub lunches in Farnham. A sports coach also visits fortnightly, and you may support or even join in with work-outs.

Family means a great deal to these gentlemen, with regular visits at home and support to visit loved ones.

Not everyone uses words to communicate, but each person has their own meaningful way of expressing themselves. If this is new to you, don’t worry — full training is provided.

You'll provide day-to-day support such as meal preparation, finances and personal care — all delivered with respect, patience and kindness. All training will be provided.

Shift patterns - The role will be a mixture of early (7.30-15.00) and late (14.30-22.00) shifts andSupport Workers will need to do 1 sleep-in shift a week..

About you

To thrive as a Support Worker in this home, you will be someone who is compassionate, reliable, and genuinely motivated to make a positive difference in people’s lives. You don’t need previous experience in social care, but you do need the right values, the willingness to learn, and the confidence to support individuals to live the life they choose.

You’ll bring strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with the people you support, their families, and your colleagues. A good Support Worker here is patient, calm under pressure, and able to adapt to different situations with empathy and professionalism. You’ll also be proactive, observant, and comfortable encouraging people to develop their independence and try new things.

Basic IT skills are important, as you’ll use digital systems for recording notes, completing training, and staying connected as part of the team. You’ll show a commitment to your own learning and development, embracing the training we provide to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who brings positivity, kindness, and respect to every interaction, helping create a safe, supportive, and happy environment for the people who live here.
