At Dimensions, you can bring your whole self to work – and be celebrated for it. You’ll support autistic people and adults with learning disabilities to live more independently, building confidence and joy in everyday life. We’ll support you too, with a workplace that values wellbeing, listens to every voice, and offers real opportunities to grow through Aspire and Dimensions Academy. Recognised as a Great Place to Work for seven years running, this is more than a job – it’s a place where you can truly be you.

Who will I be supporting?

You’ll be part of a close-knit team supporting two lovely ladies and two fantastic gentlemen to live fulfilling, independent lives in their own home in Darlington.

Each person you’ll support brings their own personality, passions and strengths. They have learning disabilities, autism and one individual lives with dementia. What they all have in common is their enthusiasm for life — and their desire for the right people to walk alongside them.

Their week is filled with the things they enjoy most:

  • Gateway Club
  • Bowling & swimming
  • Dance and drama groups
  • Planning parties and attending social groups
  • Playing musical instruments
  • Movie nights (with a special love for Disney!)

You’ll be joining a team where every day is meaningful and every interaction matters.

What will I be doing?

Your role is to empower people to live life their way — to be themselves, make choices and achieve their personal goals.

You’ll support with:

  • Personal care
  • Medication
  • Budgeting and daily living skills
  • Cooking, cleaning and laundry
  • Getting out and about: appointments, clubs, hobbies, day trips and day services

A full UK driving licence is highly desirable as it helps the people we support stay active and connected in their community.

This is a role where your kindness, patience and creativity truly make a difference.
