About the role

  • Female Support Worker
  • Permanent Contract - 37.5 to 45 Hours per week
  • Hellesdon, Norwich
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence Essential

This is a unique opportunity to join two of our supported living homes in Hellesdon, Norwich, on a permanent contract of 37.5 to 45 hours per week.

You'll spend 28 hours each week supporting three women in their own home, helping them live the lives they choose. The women enjoy a wide range of interests including shopping, visiting cafés, arts and crafts, holidays, trips to the seaside and spending time in their local community. Two of the women require support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, moving and assisting, medication and PEG feeding, while the third enjoys a greater level of independence and attends work during the week.

Alongside this, you'll provide support at a second nearby supported living home, covering additional hours across the rota. These hours will predominantly be waking nights, helping to cover annual leave, sickness and other staffing requirements. Here you'll support four people with varying needs, enabling them to enjoy active and fulfilling lives both at home and in their community.

No two days are the same in this role. You'll provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's goals, interests and needs, whilst being part of a close-knit team that shares a passion for helping people achieve great things.

Flexibility is essential, as you'll be required to work a variety of shifts including earlys, lates, long days, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays across both home.

A full UK manual driving licence is required, as you'll need to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

  • Has a caring, positive and can-do attitude.
  • Is genuinely passionate about supporting people to live great lives.
  • Can work flexibly across days, evenings, weekends and nights.

  • Can work across both homes as required.
  • Holds a full UK manual driving licence.
  • Is able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
