A stimulating and diverse role managing a team of Regional Assistants, whilst reporting to the Regional Managing Director (RMD) working closely with the Operations Director (OD) and Locality Managers in the Region, coordinating the provision of administrative and secretarial support in an efficient and exemplary manner.

As part of the onboarding period, there will be an increased focus in the first 3–6 months on visiting offices and completing some home visits to help gain a fuller picture of the business.

Some travel across the region will be needed from time to time, typically a couple of times each quarter.

Interviews will take place on the 8th May via Microsoft teams.

About the role 

Your main duties will include: 

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the RMD
  • To line manage Regional Assistants and support them to develop the skills and capabilities required to fulfil their roles,
  • Coordinate requests, manage demand and arrange local administrative and secretarial support to the ODs, LMs and ALM’s in performing their role through the effective and robust delegation to Regional Assistants.
  • Provide Regional Coordinator support to other regions during holidays or emergencies if required

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

  • You will be expected to have completed/be willing to work towards the Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service or Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience with an administrative or secretarial role
  • Able to use and develop electronic information systems
  • Possess fast and accurate typing speed with the ability to produce documents from handwritten material
