About the role
We're looking for flexible and enthusiastic Relief Support Workers to join our teams across Newbury and the surrounding area.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll work across a variety of support settings, providing personalised support to people with a range of needs, including people with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and complex health needs.
No two shifts are the same. You might be supporting someone with daily routines, helping them attend appointments, preparing meals, supporting personal care, administering medication, or supporting people to do the things that matter to them.
Support may include:
• Promoting independence and choice
• Supporting people with daily routines
• Meal preparation and healthy living
• Supporting people with their personal care
• Mobility support
• Medication administration
• Supporting communication and individual goals
• Supporting people to take part in hobbies, interests and experiences they enjoy
This role is particularly suited to candidates who can provide cover when it's needed most. We are especially interested in hearing from people who can offer:
• Flexibility to work waking nights, days, and sleep in shifts.
• Availability to pick up shifts at short notice
• Cover during Christmas, school holidays and other peak annual leave periods
• Weekend availability

Previous support experience is welcome, but not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
