£14.01 per hour (£60 per sleep in shift)

Who will I be supporting?
You’ll be supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities to live as independently as possible within a supported living setting of 4 individual bungalows. Each shift, you’ll be based in one bungalow, but you’ll work across the service, supporting different people and building meaningful relationships.
This is a role where consistency, patience and understanding are key, especially for people who thrive on structure and routine.
You’ll support individuals who enjoy a variety of interests and routines, including:
Watching films and TV
Arts, crafts and creative activities
Shopping and choosing personal items
Eating out and visiting local attractions
Spending time with family, which is very important to them
The people we support value routine, familiarity and trusted relationships, and benefit from Support Workers who are calm, patient and genuinely engaged in their interests.
What will I be doing?
You’ll play a key role in supporting people to live life their way, including:
Encouraging independence and developing life skills
Supporting access to community activities and hobbies
Prompting and supporting with personal care where required
Medication administration
Supporting with budgeting and daily finances
Cooking, cleaning and helping maintain a comfortable home
Providing reassurance and consistent support during behaviours of distress
Some individuals may experience behaviours of distress, including verbal or physical expressions. You’ll follow clear support plans and Positive Behaviour Support approaches to help them feel safe and supported.

What shifts are available?
Long Day Sleep: 9am – 9am the following day (Includes £60 Sleep-In Shift) - You will be expected to work Lomg day + sleep in shift a week.
Sleep In Shifts: 10pm – 8am
Day Shifts - 9am - 6pm
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to allow a healthy work life balance- something we’re really passionate about!
