About Dimensions

Your wellbeing matters. From health support to flexible working, we provide the tools and culture to stay balanced, healthy, and at your best, both inside and outside of work.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

You'll be supporting a fun-loving and cheeky lady in her 30s who has a fantastic sense of humour and loves making the people around her smile. She enjoys a good laugh, loves Bollywood music and films, and brings plenty of personality to every day.

She also enjoys swimming, relaxing in her sensory room, and tucking into homemade spicy curries. She loves getting out and about, exploring her local community, and spending quality time doing the things that matter most to her.

She has autism, a learning disability, diabetes and epilepsy, and is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to help her continue living independently in her own home.

Building a trusting relationship is key in this role. At times, she may need emotional reassurance and support when feeling anxious or distressed. You'll receive full Positive Behaviour Support training, but experience of supporting people with complex needs and behaviours of distress is essential.

What Will You Be Doing?

This lady wants to live life on her own terms, make her own choices, and achieve her personal goals. As part of her support team, you'll play an important role in helping her do just that.

Your support will include:

  • Personal care and promoting independence
  • Medication support
  • Occasional wheelchair assistance
  • Preparing meals and supporting healthy eating
  • Food shopping and community activities
  • Household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry
  • Providing emotional reassurance and positive encouragement
  • Supporting her to enjoy hobbies, interests and days out

She also has access to her own vehicle, making trips out even more enjoyable, so a full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, positive and genuinely passionate about helping people live fulfilling, independent lives while having plenty of fun along the way.
