Floating Support Worker – Dorchester & Weymouth
Location: Dorchester and Weymouth, with travel across Dorset
Pay Rate: £14.88 per hour + paid mileage
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Every day you’ll help adults with learning disabilities and autism live the life they choose. Some days, that means supporting with daily routines or healthcare needs; other days it’s about building confidence, trying something new together or simply being a reassuring presence.
In this Floating Support role, you won’t do domiciliary care or rush between homes during one shift. Instead, you’ll work in different services across Dorset for longer placements — bringing stability where it’s needed most. No two days are the same, but every day matters.

Requirements (all essential unless stated otherwise)
- Experience working in a healthcare or care-related setting (Desirable: Experience with complex healthcare or supporting people with behaviours of distress)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance)
- Willing and able to travel up to one hour from your home address on a regular basis
- Flexibility for varying assignments and alternate weekend shifts
