About the Role
You’ll be supporting four people in their home in Totton — two gentlemen and two ladies aged between their late 40s and 70s. Each person has their own routines, needs, and personality, and your role is to ensure their nights are safe, comfortable, and supported.
What your night shifts may include
- Providing reassurance and a calm presence throughout the night
- Supporting with all aspects of personal care (bathing, showering, toileting, shaving)
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding sensitively to any needs that arise
- Supporting people who may sometimes display behaviours of distress
- Ensuring the environment remains safe, clean, and comfortable
- Feeling confident using wheelchairs when needed
- Helping with bedtime and morning routines to ensure a smooth transition into the day
