About the role

We have multiple Support Worker opportunities across Sheffield, offering you the chance to join a values-led organisation where you can truly make a difference.

As we recruit across several services, the exact location and people you’ll be supporting will be discussed with you at interview, so we can find the best match for your skills, interests and preferences.

What You’ll Be Supporting With

  • Supporting people with daily life, including personal care, routines and activities
  • Promoting independence, choice and dignity
  • Supporting people to access their local community and stay connected
  • Providing emotional support and building positive relationships
  • Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team

Shifts are 7am – 2:30pm and then 2:30pm – 10pm or 7am - 10pm

The role will involve:

  • Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
  • Personal care   / Manual Handling   
  • Use of wheelchair when out in a community
  • Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry                                    
  • Supporting with medication
