About the Role

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day? We're looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team, supporting two gentlemen across our houses in Kinson and Muscliff (Northbourne). The homes are located just 7 minutes apart by car, and both gentlemen have their own mobility vehicles. You'll be supporting two gentlemen with different personalities, interests and support needs, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

C is a gent in his 40's requires full support with all aspects of daily living, including:

  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation
  • Financial support

He enjoys spending time relaxing in his bedroom or chill-out room. He also loves engaging in sensory activities with staff, including playing with paper, scoobies and ball pit balls. During warmer weather, he enjoys relaxing in his garden, sitting in his tent, or spending time on the trampoline. He particularly enjoys trips out for meals, especially visits to the Pizza Hut buffet.

M is a gent in his (50s)

He enjoys a calm and relaxed lifestyle and appreciates support from patient, friendly staff who communicate in a calm manner.

Some of his favourite things include:

  • Enjoying a good cup of tea
  • Going out for drives in his car
  • Meeting friends for lunch
  • Watching police and car programmes on TV

You'll support him to maintain his social connections and continue enjoying the activities that matter most to him.

Shifts

A variety of shifts, including:

  • 7:30am - 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm - 10:00pm
  • 7:00am - 9:00pm
  • One sleep-in shift per week

We're looking for someone who is:
