About Dimensions

You can bring your whole self to work and be celebrated for it. Inclusion, respect, and practical support ensure you feel seen, supported, and valued, so you can thrive alongside the people we support.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

  • Support Worker
  • Stambridge, Rochford, SS4.
  • Contracts from 15 hours per week up to 45 hours per week
  • Full UK driving licence with own car essential. ?

We can offer contracts ranging from 15 hours to 45 hours per week. Candidates seeking full-time hours, or contracts up to 45 hours per week, must be willing to work flexibly across two Dimensions homes located in Stambridge, Rochford and Southend-on-Sea.

We have an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting three young women aged between 18 and 25 who live in their own flats within the same building in Stambridge, Rochford. Each person we support have their own interests and goals, making this a varied and rewarding role where no two days are ever the same.

One of the ladies enjoys staying active and loves getting out into the town. You might find yourselves visiting Southend seafront, going shopping, enjoying meals out, attending a weekly nightclub, heading to the gym or spending time with a family dog. Another enjoys creative pursuits such as writing, artwork and reading, alongside interests in gaming and social media. The third lady loves theatre trips, cinema visits, bowling, arts and crafts, exploring places of interest and discovering new opportunities in her local community.

As a Support Worker, you'll be alongside the people we support as they build independence, develop life skills and pursue their interests. You'll help with medication administration, meal planning and cooking, maintaining records and supporting people to access the interests and relationships that are important to them.

One of the people we support can at times display behaviours of distress. You'll receive full training, guidance and ongoing support from an experienced team, including specialist Positive Behaviour Support, to help you feel confident and successful in your role.

Shifts are worked on a four-week rolling rota and include mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins.

About you

This could be the perfect role for you if you're someone who enjoys building relationships, encouraging others and helping people experience new opportunities.

We're not looking for previous care experience. We're looking for people who are patient, positive and able to see potential in others. You'll be someone who enjoys being active, can adapt to different situations and understands the importance of treating everyone with dignity and respect.

You'll be joining a close-knit team, so being a supportive colleague and a good communicator is just as important as the support you'll provide.

Due to the location of the home and limited public transport links, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
