About Dimensions

Dimensions is a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling lives. We believe in a world where people with learning disabilities and autism are valued equally, listened to, and included. Our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do, and through our values-led culture, award-winning training, and strong focus on career progression, we empower you to make a meaningful difference every day. Whether you’re experienced or new to care, we will support you to succeed and grow.

About the Role

  • Part time Support Worker
  • 12 hours per week
  • Caister on Sea, Great Yarmouth, NR30
  • Full UK driving licence essential, along with access to your own car and business insurance.

We are looking for a part time Support Worker to join a fun, friendly, and bubbly home supporting three adults, two women and one man, in their late 30s to 40s with learning disabilities to live active and fulfilling lives.

This is a rewarding, hands on role where you'll provide support with personal care, cooking, and everyday living while helping the people we support enjoy fulfilling lives. From horse riding and cycling to swimming, days out, and travelling on public transport, you'll be encouraging people to pursue their passions, try new experiences, and make the most of every day. As swimming is a favourite hobby, confidence in the water is essential.

The home is full of laughter, personality, and positive energy. We're looking for someone who enjoys having fun, brings a great sense of humour, and can build genuine relationships. One of the people we support loves a bit of playful banter, so a relaxed, upbeat approach and the ability to laugh along are key to fitting into this household.

This part-time role offers 12 hours per week, typically worked as a long day shift (7am to 10pm) with a sleep-in. Shifts are spread across the week, including alternate weekends, providing a varied and engaging working pattern where no two days are ever the same.

About You

You will be someone who brings energy, positivity, and a genuine passion for supporting others. You will feel comfortable providing personal care and supporting people in all aspects of their daily lives, while also being enthusiastic about getting involved in hobbies both at home and in the community.

You should be patient, adaptable, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with the people you support. A sense of fun is important, as is the ability to engage with different personalities and communication styles. Confidence in the water and a willingness to take part in physical and outdoor activities is essential for this role.

A full UK driving licence is required, along with access to your own car and business insurance, as you will be supporting people to attend appointments using your vehicle.
