About the Role
You’ll be supporting two young men and one young woman, all in their late teens to mid-twenties, who share a warm and welcoming home in Weymouth. They each have learning disabilities and are looking for Support Workers who will empower them to live life their way — with confidence, choice, and plenty of fun.
Their days are full of variety, and you’ll be right there alongside them for activities such as:
- Walks and long scenic drives
- Swimming sessions at 1610 Leisure Centre in Dorchester
- Arts and crafts at home
- Adventures on public transport (they love buses!)
- Shopping trips and exploring the community
They’re excited to broaden their horizons, so they’d love to meet Support Workers who enjoy trying new things and bringing fresh ideas.
About youYou don’t need previous experience — what matters most is your attitude, your warmth, and your willingness to get stuck in. You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Able to work alternate weekends
- Comfortable completing one or two sleep-ins per week (£50 allowance)
- Physically strong enough to use a handling belt when out in the community
- Happy to try new activities and support people to experience more of the world
