Location: Market Drayton (TF9)

Hours: Full Time Opportunities Available – Up to 45 Hours per Week

Salary: Up to £30,537 per year (based on 45 hours per week at £13.05 per hour) + £50 per sleep-in shift

Driver Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence,

We're looking for a proactive and engaging Male Support Worker to join our team in Market Drayton (TF9), supporting two gentlemen aged between their 30s and 60s with learning disabilities.

One gentleman is deaf and uses hearing aids. Both lead active and independent lives, and your role will focus on providing the right level of support while encouraging independence and choice.

The gentlemen you will support enjoy:

• Visiting a local farm

• Attending Men's Shed sessions

• Walking and staying active

• Meeting friends at a weekly social club

• Getting out and about and trying new experiences

• Spending time with people they know and trust

Support includes:

• Supporting one gentleman with aspects of personal care, including washing his hair

• Meal preparation

• Administering medication

• Supporting people to maintain their independence

• Providing support during social activities and outings

• Supporting positive and safe relationships

• Using proactive approaches and distraction techniques when required

• Supporting people to do the things that matter to them

One gentleman can experience behaviours of distress and benefits from consistent support, positive relationship building and proactive approaches.

• Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm

• Late Shift: 3:00pm – 10:00pm

• Long Day: 7:00am – 10:00pm

• Sleep-in: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support planning and work–life balance.

Previous support experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
