Location: Bath (BA2)

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 Hours per Week

Pay: £13.45 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift

Driver Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence Essential

We're looking for a kind, patient and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Bath (BA2), supporting a lady in her 60s with a learning disability and communication differences.

This is a dedicated 1:1 support role, where you'll get to know one person well and provide personalised support that reflects her preferences, routines and goals.

She is a warm, easy-going lady with a creative side and a strong sense of what she likes. She enjoys familiar places and routines and benefits from support that helps her feel confident when exploring the world around her.

She enjoys:

• Painting and drawing

• Listening to music

• Going out for drives

• Visiting places she knows and enjoys

• Good food and mealtimes

• Creative activities and self-expression

• Spending time doing the things that matter to her

She communicates without words, so learning how she expresses herself and understanding her preferences will be an important part of the role.

Support includes:

• Supporting her with her personal care

• Meal preparation

• Administering medication

• Encouraging healthy eating choices

• Supporting communication in ways that work for her

• Supporting her to visit places she enjoys

• Providing reassurance when visiting less familiar places

• Supporting her independence and everyday routines

This is a rewarding role where patience, consistency and strong relationship-building skills are key.

• Long day with sleep-in: 9:00am – 9:00am the following day

• Sleep-in: 11:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support planning and work–life balance.

Experience is not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
