Assistant Locality Manager – Muswell Hill

We’re looking for an Assistant Locality Manager to join our team in Muswell Hill. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in senior support work who’s ready to grow, take on more responsibility, and help lead a team that supports people with learning disabilities and autism.
This Assistant Locality Manager role offers a unique opportunity to build your leadership skills while continuing to deliver hands on support. You’ll work 30 hours a week, with four days focused on management tasks and one day providing direct support. This balance allows you to develop professionally while maintaining the personal connection that makes support work so rewarding.
You’ll be working closely with the Locality Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly and that the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will involve supporting with rota planning, team development, recruitment, and compliance. You’ll also help manage budgets and build strong relationships with families, health professionals, and external partners.

We’re looking for someone who has experience supporting people with a range of needs, including autism and complex learning disabilities. You’ll need to be confident working independently, able to manage your time effectively, and willing to learn. We’ll support you to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or Leadership and Management if you haven’t already.
You’ll be based in the homes of the people we support, and once you’ve passed probation, you’ll take on some on-call responsibilities. Training and development are a big part of this role, and you’ll have access to our award-winning Aspire programme, regular 1:1s, and ongoing learning opportunities.
The total annual pay for the role is currently £32,495.19 per annum made up of a basic salary of £28,884.61 plus an additional 12.5% annual allowance for 30 off rota hours of £3,610.58.
