Executive Assistant - 10 months -  Maternity Cover (Home Based)

The Executive Assistant is responsible for the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and responsive executive level support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with some support to the Chair of Board Sub-Committees and would work as part of an Executive Support Team. The role would also include support in connection with finance activities as detailed below.

Monthly travel will be required to our head office in Theale, Reading.

About the role 

Your main duties will include: 

  • Provide a full range of secretarial and administrative support to the CFO, and on occasion other members of the Central Finance Leadership Team.
  • Support with preparation for Governance/Board-level Meetings including the Finance & Resource Committee (FRC) and Group Audit and Risk Committee (GARC) – this would include preparing and issuing agendas, proof-reading reports, collating papers, taking and distributing minutes and recording and following up on actions.
  • Maintain diaries effectively, including scheduling and co-ordinating appointments, tracking movements and arranging any associated travel, accommodation, meeting venues, etc.
  • Be first point of contact for the CFO Office from internal and external sources including answering and screening calls, handling correspondence and emails and responding to them on the CFO’s behalf, where appropriate.

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Able to demonstrate a track record working as a senior secretarial/PA role.
  • Experience of note taking of formal meetings and providing accurate minutes.
  • An ability to prepare accurate documents, reports and correspondence.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills and time management, including the ability to multi-tasks, manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
