Who Will You Be Supporting?

You’ll be supporting two adults with:

  • Cerebral palsy
  • Epilepsy
  • Learning disabilities
  • Hydrocephalus

Support is a mix of 1:1 and 2:1, depending on the activity and time of day.

What Are Their Interests?

You’ll be supporting two vibrant individuals in their 30s—a gentleman and a lady—each with their own unique passions and personalities:

  • The gentleman is a gamer at heart, loves computer games, and enjoys social outings in his car. He’s actively involved in planning events like the South West Summer BBQ and “Everyone Counts.” He’s got a great sense of humour and thrives on positive, engaging interactions with his close-knit team.
  • The lady is a caring, chatty soul who adores animals—especially her beloved cat, Carl. She’s articulate, loves singing (especially Ed Sheeran!), and enjoys role play and meaningful conversations with her support team. She’s working on building and maintaining close friendships and would love your help in doing so.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Support Worker, you’ll be:

  • Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice and autonomy in daily life
  • Engaging in Activities: Supporting hobbies, social outings, and new experiences
