About the role
We’re looking for a caring, creative and motivated Female Support Worker to join our team in Chippenham (SN14), supporting two individuals in their 30s with complex needs.
This is a rewarding, relationship-focused role where you’ll provide a mixture of 1:1 and 2:1 support, helping each person build independence, maintain meaningful relationships and enjoy life to the fullest.
You’ll be part of a supportive and imaginative team that values creativity, positivity and person-centred care.
Who you will be supporting
You’ll support two vibrant individuals with unique personalities and interests:
- Gentleman: Loves gaming, enjoys social outings, and plays an active role in planning events such as the South West Summer BBQ and “Everyone Counts.” He has a great sense of humour and thrives on positive, engaging support.
- Lady: Friendly and chatty, loves singing (especially Ed Sheeran), role play and meaningful conversations. She adores animals (particularly her cat Carl) and is working on building and maintaining friendships.
Both individuals live with:
- Cerebral palsy
- Epilepsy
- Learning disabilities
- Hydrocephalus
Your support will help them continue to grow in confidence, independence and social connection.
What you will be doing
You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred support, including:
- Providing personal care, including prompting with dressing and showering
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Supporting hobbies, interests and community activities
- Helping build and maintain social relationships
- Supporting daily routines and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with a creative and supportive team
Your role will focus on enabling choice, independence and positive outcomes every day.
Shift patterns
This is a 37.5-hour role, including a mix of shifts:
- Long day + sleep-in: 9:00am – 9:00am (next day)
- Sleep-in: 11:00pm – 8:00am
Day shifts:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 9:00am – 12:00pm (with sleep-in)
Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work–life balance.
About you
