Are you caring, active, and passionate about helping others live a full and independent life? We’re looking for Support Workers to join our team and support a friendly, sociable woman with a well-established weekly routine and a love for staying busy and active.

About the Role:
You’ll support her to access community activities, maintain her routine, and explore new interests. She enjoys being out and about, meeting people, and engaging in a wide range of hobbies. Your support will help her feel confident and safe while doing the things she loves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support her to attend swimming sessions (up to 3 times per week), including getting in the pool when needed
  • Encourage and accompany her to the gym and on local walks (at least 2 times per week)
  • Support her at a weekly arts and crafts group and social sessions at a local church
  • Accompany her to activities such as pottery, music and dance groups, cinema trips, ten-pin bowling, and beach visits
  • Help her explore new hobbies like dancing and aqua aerobics
  • Support her evening routine, which includes going for walks or playing board games — always offering real choice
  • Build a consistent, trusting relationship that supports her independence and wellbeing

About the Person You’ll Support:
She enjoys structure in her week, but is open to new experiences with the right support. She is sociable, creative, physically active, and values her connection with both her support team and the community.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Willingness to support in the water (essential)
  • Confidence in encouraging physical and social engagement
  • A driving licence (essential)
  • Previous care or support experience is helpful but not required – full training provided
