We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated female Support Worker to join our team in Slough and help create meaningful, joyful experiences for the people we support. You’ll be working with six wonderful ladies aged 40–60, all with complex care needs. Five of these ladies do not communicate with words and some use wheelchairs, requiring full support with personal care, manual handling (including hoisting), and medication.
What They LoveThese ladies enjoy sensory activities, visits from local musicians, trips to Thames Valley Adventure Playground, and spending time with family. They also love celebrating special occasions and engaging in community life.
What You’ll Be DoingProviding full personal care and medication support
Assisting with manual handling and hoisting
Supporting meaningful activities and outings
Creating a safe, warm, and inclusive environment
Working flexibly as part of a rota team
You’ll be supporting them in their own home, which includes a dedicated bedroom for sleep-in shifts. The location is easily accessible by public transport and offers some parking.
