About the people we support:
We have 2 active gent who love horse riding, airplanes, Lego and long walks out and about.
We are supporting them to live independently in their own homes. Both are autistic and have a learning disability, 1 has epilepsy and 1 communicates via Makaton.
You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is preferred.
A confident support worker who’s active and has a good initiative would be a wonderful match.
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting people to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their personal goals.
Support will include full personal care, medication administration, budgeting, meal prep, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
What shifts are available?
10am – 10am for following day (includes £45 sleep over shift)
8:30am – 8:30am for following day (includes £45 sleep over shift)
We’re looking for people with the flexibility across weekdays & weekends
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work / life balance - something we're really passionate about!
