Hours: Full-Time (37.5 per week)
Location: Kidderminster, DY10 (Just a 5-minute drive from Kidderminster Train Station)

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You’ll support four gents and one lady, aged 20s–60s, with learning disabilities and some complex health needs, including PEG feeding and epilepsy. They live together in a shared home and enjoy:

  • Active Lifestyles: Swimming (must be confident in the pool), football, and day trips.
  • Creative Interests: Arts & crafts, music sessions, and sensory activities.
  • Social Activities: Theatre trips, visiting day centres, and relaxing in parks.

We’re looking for support workers with a positive outlook, great communication skills, and a willingness to try new things.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Empowering Independence: Help residents live life their way and achieve personal goals.
  • Daily Living Support: Full personal care, meal prep, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and general housework.
  • Providing Care: Assist with medication, PEG feeding, and manual handling with hoists.
  • Effective Communication: Support three gentlemen who do not use words to communicate.
  • Consistent Support: Work with a team of two staff per shift for a safe, supportive environment.

Shift Patterns

  • Day Shifts: 7:00am – 2:30pm | 7:30am – 3:00pm | 8:00am – 3:30pm
  • Afternoon: 2:00pm – 9:30pm | 3:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Sleep-In: 10:30pm – 7:00am (Paid to sleep)
    1–2 Sleep-In shifts per week expected on a full-time contract.
    Rotas provided in advance for work-life balance.
