We are recruiting for Support Workers in Telford on a full-time and part-time basis. As a valued support worker, you’ll be helping people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. We are looking for confident and engaging individuals of a caring nature to work for an award-winning company where we promote independence in a supportive environment.

About the Role
You will be working as a part of a team supporting one 24 year old gentleman with learning disability and autism in his own bungalow. He is also non-verbal but still seeks interaction with his support workers. He has a very active lifestyle and enjoys long walks, hikes, going to the gym, bike riding, and swimming – it is a must that you are confident getting into a pool to support him with this activity and we hope you will delight in some of his other interests as well! You will also support with his full personal care, medication, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry. Following a structured schedule is extremely important to the gentleman we support, so we value someone with strong organisational and time management skills. Positive Behaviour Support & PROACT-SCIPr training will also be provided for this role.

It is essential you hold a full UK/EU manual driving license for this role (the gentleman we support has a Mobility Vehicle that his support workers need to drive for him – to be able to drive a Mobility Vehicle you need to have a full UK/EU license).

Shift Pattern - 7:30am-3:00pm & 3:00pm-10:30pm. We are looking for people with the flexibility to work across our rota which will include both weekdays and weekends.

Applications will be shortlisted on receipt and interviews will be held until the posts are filled
