Support Worker – Waking Nights (20:00–07:30)
Location: Weymouth Contract: Full-time or Part-time
About the Role
We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our night team in Weymouth. You’ll be supporting a friendly gentleman in his 20s who lives with different support needs, working as part of a close-knit team within his own home.
This role is all about providing calm, consistent overnight support that helps him maintain a positive sleep routine while being there for him if he wakes or needs reassurance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting independent living in a way that respects his choices and routines
Providing personal care in a dignified, person-centered manner
Administering medication safely and accurately
Promoting a healthy sleep pattern, offering reassurance during brief periods of wakefulness
Working collaboratively with his family to ensure continuity and consistency of care
Using IT confidently, including iPads and digital recording systems
