We’re Dimensions, a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own! We’re seeking to recruit some great new support workers to work in our supported living home in Lincoln.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals who is fully committed to delivering exceptional support. In this role, reliability, patience, and integrity are essential, you must do what you say and always act with honesty and respect.

You will be supporting three gentlemen and one woman, all of whom are active, sociable, and enjoy a wide range of interests. The support provided is highly personalised, with a focus on promoting independence and enhancing life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their daily routines and personal interests, including shopping, housework, visiting local towns or garden centres, and enjoying meals out.
  • Encourage and enable people to develop new skills and pursue hobbies such as walking, bowling, dancing, music, swimming, holidays, crafts, cinema trips, gardening, and spending time with family.
  • Assist with personal care (minimal, mostly observational—e.g., supporting with hair washing), meal preparation (including dietary guidance), and light housekeeping.
  • Administer medication and accompany individuals to appointments as needed.
  • Work in partnership with families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and person-centred support.

You will work as part of a rota which will include, earlies, lates, long days, mid shifts, and sleep-in nights. You will be expected to work every other weekend on a two-week rolling rota basis.
