Are You Compassionate, Creative, and Ready to Make a Real Difference?

If you’re someone who brings empathy, energy, and a sense of fun to your work—and you love thinking outside the box—this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You’ll be supporting four adults (three ladies and one gentleman) aged between 40s and 70s, each with their own unique personalities and support needs. The people you’ll support live with a range of conditions including:

  • Down’s Syndrome
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
  • Epilepsy
  • Osteoporosis
  • PEG feeding and medication needs

Support includes a mix of 1:1 and 2:1 for personal care and hoisting.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Support Worker, you’ll be:

  • Providing Personal Care: Including hoisting and mobility support
  • Supporting Health Needs: PEG feeding, buccal medication for epilepsy, suppositories, and enemas
  • Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice and autonomy wherever possible
  • Engaging in Activities: From shopping and baking to arts, crafts, and sensory garden time
  • Creating Joyful Moments: Singing is a bonus—some people love a lively environment, while others prefer a quieter pace

What Makes This Home Special?

This is a warm, inclusive bungalow where everyone is supported to live life their way. The gentleman enjoys time in the garden and sensory summer house, while others love:

  • Coffee outings & shopping trips
  • Arts & crafts, baking, and Harry Potter
  • Music and singing (especially appreciated by some!)

Family involvement is strong, and you’ll be part of a team that values those relationships and works closely with loved ones.

What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate & Easy-Going: Brings warmth and calm to every interaction
  • Creative & Proactive: Thinks on their feet and finds joy in the everyday
  • Team-Oriented: Works well with others and values collaboration
  • Driver: Manual licence essential for community access

No experience? No problem! We provide full training and ongoing support to help you thrive.
