Location: Wokingham, RG40 (Just a 6min Drive From Crowthorne Train Station)
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour (£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)
Hours: Part-Time (22.5 Hours Per Week)
Shifts Available:

  • Day: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Day: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Sleep-In: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (paid to sleep)
    Driver Requirement: Manual driver essential

We’re looking for a confident, self-motivated support worker who enjoys planning activities, making decisions, and helping others live life to the fullest. If you’re outgoing, organised, and ready to take the lead, this could be the perfect role for you.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You’ll be supporting two older gentlemen (aged 70s–80s) who live in their own home and enjoy a calm, structured environment. They have learning disabilities, and one gentleman also has a catheter and some mild mental health needs.

Support is provided on a 1:2 basis, with some 1:1 time for personal care and community activities.

What Are Their Interests?

These gentlemen enjoy a variety of activities, including:

  • Music sessions
  • Meals out and day services
  • Trips to Center Parcs, safari parks, and Windsor
  • Trying new experiences and exploring the community

They’re open to new ideas and love having someone around who can bring fresh energy and creativity to their day.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Support Worker, you’ll be:

  • Providing Personal Care: Supporting with daily routines and hygiene
  • Promoting Independence: Encouraging choice and autonomy in daily life
  • Attending Medical Appointments: Supporting with confidence and professionalism
  • Planning & Leading Activities: From day services to day trips and meals out
  • Community Engagement: Supporting one gentleman who uses a wheelchair when out and about
