Join Our Team as a Support Worker in Wokingham (RG41)
Location: Wokingham, RG41 (Just a 5min Walk from Winnersh Train Station)
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour (£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Shifts Available:
- 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm – 7am (Paid To Sleep)
Driver Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Who Will You Be Supporting?
You’ll be supporting two young gentlemen who live with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and epilepsy (well managed with medication). One of the gentlemen is at higher risk of falls, and both use wheelchairs when out in the community. Support is provided on a 1:1 basis, with a focus on safety, independence, and meaningful engagement.
You’ll be assisting with:
- Personal care
- Mobility support (including hoisting for one gentleman)
- Medication administration
- Meal preparation and support

- One enjoys long walks, especially collecting sticks along the way
- The other loves being around people and is a big fan of music, musicals, parties, the zoo, and aquariums
