Support Worker Opportunities at Dimensions UK – King’s Lynn

At Dimensions UK, we believe in creating a home where independence, dignity, and compassion thrive. Located in King’s Lynn, our supported living home is made up of 10 individual bungalows, all together in one location. Each bungalow is home to one person we support, five men and five women, ranging in age from their 30s to 60s. They all value the presence and support of someone who genuinely cares.

We’re looking for support workers who share our values and bring a genuine interest in others. You don’t need previous experience or qualifications; we’ll provide all the training you need.

Your role will be varied and rewarding. Some days you might be helping with personal care or assisting with mobility aids. Other times, you’ll be supporting someone on a shopping trip, joining them for a coffee, helping with technology, or simply being there for companionship. One of people we support loves walking her dog with staff, another enjoys driving to Subway with a support worker, and another works in emergency services and appreciates company around her busy schedule. Whether it’s watching DVDs, gardening, or heading out to the theatre (we recently saw Wicked in London!), you’ll be part of moments that matter.

Shifts run from 7am to 2:30pm, 2:30pm to 10pm, and include sleep-ins—these are essential, with an average of two per week. Weekend work is part of the rota, with two full weekends a month, one partial weekend, and one weekend off. We plan rotas five weeks in advance, but full flexibility is required.

You don’t need to drive; our location is well-served by public transport. And while you’ll often work alongside a colleague (one male and one female on shift), you’ll also be expected to work one-to-one at times. The people we support are independent, but they appreciate help when they ask for it, whether that’s with cooking, medication, or just having someone to talk to.

If you’re upbeat, compassionate, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to meet you.
