Dimensions UK is proud to welcome a new supported living bungalow in Drayton, Norfolk. This home is now part of our values-led organisation, and we’re looking for confident, proactive Support Workers to help shape the future of support for three elderly individuals who live there, two gentlemen and one lady.

The people we support have varied health needs, personal routines, and things they enjoy. Two people have epilepsy, two people require SALT plans, and all three need full personal care, including specialist bathing and support with eating. Overhead hoist tracking is used throughout the home, and manual handling equipment is available in every room. You’ll be assisting with liquid thickener, and helping with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking. Medication administration is also part of the role.

We’re looking for someone who shares our values of ambition, courage, integrity, respect, and partnership. You’ll need to be empathetic, adaptable, and confident in supporting people with complex needs. A manual driving licence is essential, as you’ll be driving the home’s Motability vehicles, though you don’t need your own car to get to work.

You will also be supporting people with the things they enjoy and their personal routines. One gentleman enjoys relaxing in the sunny conservatory and tending to the beautiful garden, which has a pergola full of grapes. They have been on cruises and attend hydrotherapy sessions every Tuesday. You’ll be helping them live life to the fullest, every single day.

This is a full-time role with flexibility around shift patterns. You must be available for daytime shifts with sleep-ins. Wake nights may be introduced later, but daytime availability is essential. Typical shifts include 7:00am–8:00pm or 8:00am–8:45pm, with sleep-in cover as needed.

Your rewards

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, 30 days annual leave (rising to 35), and access to our sector-leading benefits package. This includes a comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and support through our award-winning Aspire career development programme. You’ll also benefit from our Employee Assistance Programme, discounts through Rewarding Dimensions, and recognition through our Inspiring People awards.
