Are you passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives? Do you enjoy being active, sociable, and working as part of a supportive team?
We’re currently recruiting 2 full time and 2 part time colleagues and are excited to grow our team! We’re looking for Support Workers to join our warm and welcoming home, where we support four wonderful individuals, two ladies and two gentlemen, all in their 50s and 60s.
This is a home where every day brings something new. The people we support have learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and sensory impairments and they love to get the most out of life! From holidays (UK and abroad), cinema trips, concerts, gym sessions, and swimming, to crafts and train adventures, there's always something going on. They also have strong family bonds, and part of your role will be supporting visits and meaningful time with their loved ones.
What’s involved?
Supporting with personal care: full support for the ladies and prompting for the gentlemen.
Administering medication and helping with meal prep.
Encouraging independence and helping people enjoy their interests.
Being part of a team that values dignity, choice, and inclusion.
Shifts include a mix of early, late, and one sleep-in per week, on a 4-week rolling rota. You’ll need to be a confident driver as you’ll use the people we support's vehicles (no need for your own).
We’re holding immediate interviews, and we’re especially keen to hear from drivers.
