At Dimensions, every day is a chance to make a real difference. As a Support Worker in Morley, Leeds, you’ll bring purpose and stability to someone’s life – helping an autistic lady enjoy the routines and moments that matter most to her. Recognised as a Great Place to Work for seven years running, we’ll support you to grow, feel valued, and take pride in the difference you make every single day.

Who will I be supporting?
You’ll be supporting a friendly young woman in her early 30s who has a learning disability and a personality disorder. She’s settling into her lovely supported living home and enjoys socialising and chatting.
She has a pet cat, so you’ll need to be comfortable around cats.
This lady requires 2:1 support at all times, meaning you’ll work alongside a colleague. She has a wide range of interests and loves trying different activities, so you’ll need to be confident supporting her with whatever she chooses to do.
What will I be doing?
Your role is to help her be herself and achieve her goals while ensuring her safety in the community.
She is independent with personal care but appreciates friendly reminders and encouragement. You’ll provide prompting and active support with:
Meal preparation
Medication
Grocery shopping
Household tasks (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
She has her own Motability car, so a full, clean UK driving licence is desirable.
You’ll need a strong understanding of risk management to maintain appropriate boundaries and structures, enabling her to live safely while reaching her goals.
Specialised Positive Behaviour Support training will be provided, but previous experience supporting people with complex behavioural, emotional, and/or mental health needs is essential.
What shifts are available?
Variety of shift patterns available however are generally 8am -10pm with a sleep-in afterwards.
Having flexibility towards working across both weekdays & weekends is essential.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
