About Dimensions
At Dimensions, you can bring your whole self to work – and be celebrated for it. Guided by respect and strengthened by partnership, you’ll belong to a community that values difference, listens deeply, and acts with kindness. With integrity at the heart of what we do, and the right tools, adjustments, and opportunities, you’ll have everything you need to thrive. Together, we’ll keep building a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and truly included. Because when you can be you, we can make an even greater difference – together.
About the role
We’re opening a brand-new supported living home in Watton, a town in Norfolk, just 20 miles from Norwich city centre and close to Dereham, Attleborough, Thetford, and Swaffham.
You’ll be supporting a gentleman who has been with Dimensions for some time and is moving to the area. He’s independent, does his own personal care and cooking, and enjoys a wide range of social interests such as horse riding, trampolining, bike riding, sailing (he’s already joined a local sailing club), and gaming on his PS5. Our goal is to create a full week of hobbies for him in Watton and surrounding areas.
Your role will focus on encouraging independence, providing practical support when needed, and ensuring safeguarding and safety at all times. You’ll accompany him on outings, help plan his social calendar, and support his routines. He values his own space, so we’re looking for calm, respectful team members who understand when to step back and when to engage.
Shifts will include early and late shifts, long days, and sleep-ins (everyone commits to sleep-ins). Long days are ideal for his social calendar, and staff will lone work during the day so must feel comfortable working independently.
About you
You’ll be someone who values independence and knows how to provide support without taking over. Calm, patient, and respectful, you understand the importance of safeguarding and safety measures and can follow clear processes.
You’re comfortable helping with cooking and accompanying someone on days out, and you’re flexible enough to work a mix of shifts, including long days and sleep-ins.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential, and while experience is welcome, it’s not required, we’ll provide full training and ongoing support.
