Wake Night Support Worker – Part-Time
- 22–33 hours per week (Friday–Sunday)
- 9pm–8am
- Acle, Norwich, NR13
- £12.31 per hour
The Role
Are you calm, caring, and confident? We’re looking for a dedicated Wake Night Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 60s with profound learning disabilities and cerebral palsy, living in his own home in Acle, Norfolk.
This is a highly rewarding role where you’ll provide essential overnight support, including moving and handling, repositioning, PEG feeding and medication, and personal care in the morning. You will ensure he remains comfortable and safe throughout the night, with regular checks and support as needed.
Though he doesn’t use words to communicate, he responds warmly to friendly voices, smiles, and eye contact. He enjoys music, puzzles, people-watching, and especially loves tractors and brass bands. Your presence and engagement will make a real difference to his night.
You’ll work 11-hour shifts from 9pm to 8am, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Availability for weekday training and induction is essential.
If you’re someone who brings warmth, attentiveness, and a steady presence to your work, we’d love to hear from you.
